Obsidian Eagle Warrior Dagger
During Pre-Hispanic times, a tecplatl, obsidian knife in nahuatl, was used by elite warriors during combat. Obsidian knives were also used during ceremonies and rituals.
This handcrafted black obsidian arrowhead dagger is carved with great detail making each blade unique. The malachite handle features an Aztec Eagle Warrior known as a Cuahutli. The elite warriors who dressed in bird attire were closely related to the light of the sun.
